We’re thrilled to announce that Jordan Pryce has joined Miya Services as our inaugural Executive Associate through the launch of our new Indigenous Executive Cadetship Program!

Our Executive Cadetship Program is a flagship initiative designed to nurture emerging indigenous talent in the community services sector. It offers hands-on executive-level exposure, professional development, mentorship from senior leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to strategic operations, program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and our mission of creating lasting positive change for vulnerable children, youth, and families.

Jordan brings a strong foundation in community services, with proven skills in person-centred care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, trauma-informed practice, and building trusting relationships. Her previous roles include: Case Manager, Homestay Program – Red Cross, Residential Youth Worker, Anglicare NQ and Support Worker, Reverend Charles Harris Diversionary Centre – Yumba Meta.

Jordan is currently completing her Certificate IV in Mental Health  and holds essential credentials including Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid, Provide First Aid, and CPR.

Jordan’s passion for advocacy, empathy, and breaking down barriers aligns perfectly with Miya Services’ values of love, respect, cultural safety, and transformative support. As our first Executive Associate, she will support executive functions, contribute to program innovation, and help shape the future of our organisation while growing into a leadership role.
